There is so much false and information on how to the best version of oursleves.
And there comes a point in every health person’s life where they ask:
“Who should I trust with my health?”
A man in a white coat with 32 years of medical experience?
Or a blissed out woman lying flat on her back in a muddy paddock having what appears to be a spiritual exchange with a horse called Yogi?
Obviously, the correct answer is:“Yes.”
Because somehow, against all statistical probability, these two worlds have collided to create something rather extraordinary.
On one side, there’s David:A GP with over three decades inside the NHS, years in private practice, extensive training in integrative medicine, and enough clinical experience to calmly identify a thyroid issue from twenty paces while someone else is still googling “Why am I tired all the time?”
On the other side:A spiritual horse whisperer whose professional qualifications include:
staring thoughtfully into middle distance
talking about nervous systems beside hay bales
disappearing into fields “to ground”
and occasionally being emotionally outwitted by a Shetland pony
Together, they have formed what may be Britain’s first medically-informed, horse-approved health retreat.
And strangely…it makes complete sense.
Because while modern medicine is brilliant at saving lives, it has become considerably less brilliant at helping people actually feel well.
We have scans, prescriptions, procedures, apps, watches that monitor our sleep, and enough wellness podcasts to last until the collapse of civilisation — and yet most people are exhausted, inflamed, anxious, overstimulated, undernourished, and one unanswered email away from a complete emotional systems failure.
Which brings us to the awkward question:
Why look beyond a free NHS health check?

Insulin resistance
Inflammation
Nutrient deficiencies
Chronic stress
Even when tests are done, they’re rarely interpreted in a way that truly reflects your health.
And the solutions?
Too often, they begin and end with prescriptions—while powerful tools like nutrition, lifestyle, and targeted supplementation are overlooked or dismissed.
