1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern your participation in our meditation sessions with horses as well as the events organised by us. By booking and participating, you agree to abide by these terms.
2. Non-Discrimination Policy
We do not discriminate against anybody who wishes to book our events. If you feel a calling; if you feel this is for you but you are worried about accessibility, gender issues, neurodiversity, or any other diversity and what this means in the context of group work then please reach out to us and we will help you on your way. Our events are open to one and all and we encourage acceptance and inclusion as part of everyone's healing journey.
3. Participant Safety

Eligibility: Participants must be in good health. Please consult a healthcare provider if you have any medical conditions that may affect your participation.

Safety Precautions: Participants should notify the instructor of any allergies, phobias, or health concerns related to horses before the session.
4. Horse Welfare

Care of Horses: We are committed to the well-being of our horses. All horses are selected based on their temperament and are monitored for stress or discomfort.

Interaction Guidelines: Participants must follow all instructions regarding interaction with the horses to ensure their safety and comfort.
5. Session Structure

Meditate with horses: duration: Sessions typically last 2 hours. Please arrive and wait in the car park or at the area pre discussed. You will will be sent a pin location. Please dress appropriately for the weather and wear sturdy boots. You may get dirty.

Format: Sessions include Introduction, horse-grooming, breath work, meditation, horse connection, sharing and check-out.
6. Professional Credentials

Facilitators: Our instructors have experience in both meditation and equine care and are qualified Meditate with Horses facilitators.
7. Liability and Insurance

Insurance Coverage: Our programs carries liability insurance. Participants are advised to have their own insurance for personal coverage and travel insurance incase of needing to cancel.

Responsibility: Participants assume full responsibility for their own safety and well-being during the session. They must be aware that horses are large heavy animals and this can pose a danger should an accident happen.
8. Cancellation and Refund Policies

Cancellation:

Meditate with horses: At least 24 hours prior to the start of the session. Full payment is made upfront.

For Wild Woman weekend, Healing on Horseback trips, Facilitator Training and any other events organised by us:

Full payment for the workshop has to be made prior to the start of the workshop as follows:
Deposit to register
Participant £200 / £300 for facilitator training
Space Holder on the Wild Woman £100

When workshops are booked more than 9 months in advance please be aware the participation cost may be subject to change. Any change would be notified to you at least 3 months prior to the group.
Final Payment
The final payment for the workshop is due four weeks before the workshop start date (unless you are on a payment plan). We will send you an email reminder before the payment is due, but you are responsible to make payment by the due date or stay in touch with us. If we do not receive your payment or hear from you by the final payment date you will lose your place on the workshop and your full deposit.
Payment Plans
We can offer monthly payment plans to spread the cost of the workshop. The last payment of a payment plan has to be made one week before the start of the workshop.
Cancellation Policy
Deposit cancellation policy:
The first £100 of your deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable. As a participant, if you cancel more than 56 days (8 weeks) before the workshop the remaining part of your deposit is transferable to a future workshop within one year of the original workshop booked.
Full payment cancellation policy:
More than 42 days prior to the workshop start date:
Your payment can be refunded (less the non-refundable/transferable £195 deposit), or transferred to another workshop within one year of the original workshop booked.
Cancellation between 41 and 15 days prior to the workshop start date:
50% of your payment is transferable to another workshop or events within one year of the original workshop booked.
Cancellation 14 days or less prior to the workshop date:
No refund or transfer.
To rebook following cancellation
It is your responsibility to contact Meditate With Horses to re-book. If you would like to transfer your registration to another workshop you must re-book by emailing: katherinebeaumont76@gmail.co.uk. To qualify for the early sign up discounts you must re-pay any deposit by the early sign up date.

If you do not rebook within one year any money we are holding will be transferred to the Bursary fund.

Refunds: We will always consider finding alternative events or dates within the next 1 years of the original booking. Refunds are given at our discretion (minus the deposit which is non exchangeable and non refundable) , and we will always sincerely consider extenuating circumstances. We do not refund payment plans, discounted rates or gift vouchers. We do not refund in the cases of bad weather or other acts of God.
9. Code of Conduct

Behaviour: Our journeys encourage community, acceptance, and connection. We feel very strongly about anyone attending our events speaking negatively about any of our participants or facilitators to other members in the group. Serious concerns should be raised and scheduled in a conscious group setting, either with all participants present or voiced in a meeting with all leaders or facilitators. We retain the right to remove anyone from the group who conspires negatively against other members.

Dress Code: Wear comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing and closed-toe shoes.

Substance Policy: We do not allow alcohol or any substances at our events. Anyone who attends intoxicated will be asked to leave.

Conduct Between Participants: We do not allow sexual conduct of any nature between participants that have not arrived as a couple in a long-term relationship.
10. Consent and Waivers

Waiver: All participants must sign a consent form and liability waiver before joining the session. These documents outline the risks and confirm your understanding and acceptance.
11. Confidentiality and Privacy

Data Protection: We collect and store personal information in accordance with privacy laws. Your information will not be shared without your consent.

Privacy: Participants are asked to respect the privacy of others and not share personal experiences or photographs without permission.
12. Costs and Payments

Meditate with horses: Payment upon booking

Any other events: Payment needs to be done at the latest 14 days prior to the start of the event.

13. Health and Hygiene

Health Requirements: Participants should maintain good personal hygiene. Hand sanitizers will be provided.

Hygiene Practices: Please follow the hygiene guidelines provided by our staff to ensure a clean and safe environment.
14. Emergency Procedures
First Aid: A first aid kit is available on-site, and staff are trained in basic first aid.
15. Week-Long Events Abroad
Travel and Health Insurance: When traveling to our events abroad, we insist that you take out both travel and health insurance. You are solely responsible for your travel arrangements and arrive at the rendez- vous point at the agreed time. You are also responsible for the safety and integrity of your luggage.
16. Attendance Encouragement
Commitment: Once you have booked, we strongly encourage you to attend. We understand that people may have second thoughts or become anxious about sharing space or group work, but our core work is dealing with fears and anxieties and turning them into your strengths and gifts.

18. Attendance of Minors and Vulnerable Adults

Minors: We do not allow bookings for children that are not attended by a parent, guardian, or support worker.

Vulnerable Adults: We do not allow bookings for vulnerable adults that are not attended by a support worker or family.
19. Amendments
We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions as necessary. Changes will be communicated to participants, and continued participation signifies acceptance of the revised terms.
